TWO-PART CREATIVE WORKSHOP TO MAKE “JUNK JOURNALS” SET FOR OCT. 12 & 19 AT PRICE CENTER
Learn how to make a junk journal, a handmade booklet made from recycled materials that are visually appealing and stimulating to the creator in you! Every page is unique and create as you go. Local artist and instructor, Karen Cross will teach:
1. Collage composition
2. How to stitch paper to create texture
3. How to paint fabric and paper to create layers
4. You will conclude the class with to completed Junk Journals
Junk Journals make great gifts and can be completely personalized. The Class will meet Wed. Oc.t 19 and 26 in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Price Center from 1-2:30. A 30-minute bonus time each week will also be offered for those who want it.
