SHOP 1893 CELEBRATING HOLIDAY SEASON WITH EXTENDED HOURS, REFRESHMENTS & ORIGINAL HANDMADE GOODS

The Price Center’s Shop 1893 is celebrating this year’s holiday shopping season with extended Saturday hours, and more than a dozen of the vendors are creating a variety of original handmade and upcycled ornaments, gifts, and décor perfect for your decorating and gift-giving needs this holiday season. The Shop will be open an extra 2 hours on Saturday Nov. 26 and Shop vendor and artist Dawn Steinecker is hosting a free come-and-go Ornament and Card Making gathering from 11-2. All materials will be provided. The Shop will be open longer again on Dec. 3, 10 and 17. Light refreshments will be served on each of these days.

New original, handmade and upcycled items coming to Shop 1893 vendor booths for the holidays include:

· fused glass Christmas trees, ornaments, and suncatchers

· handmade wool air-plants, boho fabrics, and decoupage dishes

· origami crane strands, ornaments, and potholders

· fabric cats, gnomes, runners, and tree skirts

· upcycled vintage Santa mug planters

· upcycled cigar boxes

· vintage spool trees

· upcycled Loteria ornaments

· And several hand-painted, hand-drawn, and/or collaged Christmas card options

In addition to all the new handmade items listed above, many of Shop 1893 vendors have been sourcing the very best in vintage and funky holiday items to add to their spaces. Shop 1893 is open weekly, Wed – Fri, noon-5 and normally on Saturdays from10-3. Proceeds from Shop sales and all donated items go directly to help operate and maintain the Price Center & Garden.
