'Papako: The Journey' Coming to the Price Center November 7 - 10

The Indigenous Cultures Institute (ICI) will return to the Price Center's Ron & Marie Jager Stage for a 4-day run of their nerw production "Papako: the Journey" from Nov. 7 – 10.

“Papakō, which means ‘the journey’ in the ancient Coahuiltecan language of the original people of Texas,” says one of the three co-writers of the play, Maria Rocha. “It’s the story of two cousins who journey across Texas to answer the call of their ancestors.”
