"No No: A Dockumentary" Coming to Price Center June 6

Local filmmaker Jeffrey Brown has partnered with the San Marcos Arts Commission, the Price Center, and several local sponsors to bring First Tuesday SMTX, a monthly independent film series focusing on locally produced films from Central Texas to life. Featured films are screened on the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. in tyhe 1910 Room of the Price Center.

June marks the anniversary of infamous baseball pitcher Dock Ellis’s legendary no-hitter in 1970. No No: The Dockumentary (99min) transcends the excesses of 1970s pro baseball, presenting the full life – warts and all — of a unique baseball player and person. Film music by Beastie Boys’ Ad Rock. The film was named an Official Selection — Sundance Film Festival. Thsi wil be the SMTX premiere and Director Jeffrey Radice will be in attendance.
