CALL FOR ART FOR 7TH ANNUAL ALL-WOMEN’S ART SHOW SET FOR FEB. 25, 26
The anchor of the annual observance of International Women’s Day at the Price Center is the women's visual arts show, which begins with a Call for Art set for Tues., Feb. 25, and Wed., Feb. 26 from 10 am. – 5 pm. at the Center. Telling Your Story is the theme for this year’s show, which is open to female artists throughout the area. Due to the popularity of this show, artists are limited to one piece for submission. Visit price-center.org for more information and an artist application.
Now in its seventh year, the celebration includes an art show and a series of events honoring women and their art. In addition to the Opening IWD Reception set for March 9, this year’s confirmed free events include a film, two poetry events, a Joydance session, and the return of a pop-up show featuring the work of jailed women. A complete schedule of events with full details will be available early next month.
