8th Annual Lost River Film Fest Returns to Price Center Oct. 17 - 20

Opening Night on Thursday features the epic drama BOYHOOD, shot partly in San Marcos & nominated for an Oscar for Best Picture! On Friday, the new documentary on hometown hero Eddie Durham, followed by Q&A with the jazzman's daughter Topsy, and then a Poetry Night with live improvisational music! Saturday's programming centers on social justice issues – from immigration to the criminal legal system – while Sunday is dedicated to new Texas-made films, with every block containing a filmmaker Q&A afterward!
In addition to the historic 1910 Ballroom's period architecture, attendees to the annual festival will also enjoy a new art show throughout the first-floor galleries of the Price Center, access to the unique on-site resale Shop 1893, and a chance to enjoy migrating butterflies, seasonal blooms, and the permanent art installations in the front garden.
