4th Flea Set for This Sat.
4th Flea, the new downtown monthly community flea market will set up again this Sat. from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Price Center. This will be the fifth offering of the growing community Market that featured 10 vendors last month and more than 100 shoppers
“We’re pleased with our progress,” said Clay DeStefano, executive director. “This month we’re welcoming some returning vendors as well as a few new ones, including a company that makes one-of-a-kind baby and toddler clothing.”
4th Flea booths are still available and filled on a first come, first served basis. Monthly rent is $20 for outside space and $30 for an inside space. Private and retail vendors are welcome and encouraged. Participants will need to bring their own tents, tables and necessary display equipment. Set up is from 8-9 a.m. the day of sale. A limited number of tables are available to use the day of the sale for an additional $10 fee. Proceeds from booth rentals benefit the Price Center, which is operated by the Greater San Marcos Area Seniors Association (GSMASA), a 501 (c) 3 non-profit.
Next month, DeStefano shares the Center is seeking Christmas and Holiday vendors to participate in a special Holiday Bazaar within its Oct. 22 event. In addition to regular Flea Market fare, DeStefano hopes to feature an all holiday-related crafts, goods and products bazaar in its historic 1893 Chapel.
